The field of neuroscience has given us an unprecedented period of research pertaining to love, sex and relationships during the past five years. The question is what to do with this information, i.e. how do we integrate these new concepts into the everyday course of therapy? Come learn which common techniques are now contraindicated and how to replace them with robust approaches. The workshop will cover such timely subjects as the stages of love, desire discrepancy, the physiology of love and sex, anxiety, depression, neurotransmitter deficiency syndrome, infidelity and techniques for repair and connection. Lecture, demonstration, video, handouts, and discussion will be used to provide a workshop that promises to be both personally and professionally rewarding.
